How much to sell my notebook for?

Hey, I have a Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV8 that I want to sell. Here is the info on the computer:

-About 5 months old (purchased in March 2011)

-works & looks great

Here's some specs:

-Core i7 740QM Quad core processor

-640 GB HDD 5400 RPM

-6GB DDR3 RAM

-Blu-ray Read/write

-Backlit keyboard

-3D ready (comes with glasses)

I was thinking to ask about $1000. Is this too much?

I have everything that the laptop came with (including the box).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

How much did you originally pay for this? Take 20-25% off that if it is a few months old. You have the advantage that it is still under warranty though. Good luck

Thanks. I paid $1300 for this.

$1K is possible if it is in good shape, but it might be real tough at the moment - manufacturers are dumping at the moment; a brand new one, just a tad less than your specs CPU wise, can be had for around $800 or less

The best option would be to find out its present price and give 25-30% discount on top of it. Presently there are lots of high quality available at less than 600 dollars, so I dont think trying to sell your second hand laptop for 1000 dollars would actually work out.

$800 would be ideal for that specs of used laptop.

Post it on galoo.com, I am sure you will get great price for it.

I think that $900 is good price for it :)
