Acer 7720 no display problem

I bought this new in 2008 and towards the end of 2009 it shut down and would not power on--the problem was unfortunately it overheated and I had to have the motherboard repaired and replace batter and power cord etc.

I clean it somewhat regularly so this would not happen again.

Anyway, I turned it on yesterday and it seems to power up but no display. The hard indicator lights show and if I plug in the power adapter it shows charging and charged. I hold the power button to power off.

I cleaned it, was not that dirty. Not sure what to do next. I plan on removing the 2 hard drives and back them up again if I can.

I hate to have the motherboard looked at again as it costs $150 especially if that is not the problem.

I got the schmetics to take it apart.

I looked around the forum for similar problem but did not find one.

Would it show up on an external monitor?

No. I have it hooked up to my tv regularly and no such luck. I use a switch for my desktop monitor to switch between my laptop and desktop and the laptop lid is closed.

It does not sound good when you can't get signal to an external display. You can try remove and re-seat ram modules and hard drives, but it looks like a motherboard issue here
