Hello everyone didn't know if this was the proper place to post this, so if it isn't let me know. Just purchased this sony vaio used from a friend and wanted to know a couple of things about it. First of all I don't know too much about computers so forgive me. What I wanted to know is if this laptop was suitable for gaming? I checked compatibility with a few games on yougamers.com, but it says I need a better graphics card. Where can I find graphics cards compatible with this laptop? I've searched around, but nothing makes sense to me. Also the b button on the keyboard broke and the previous owner glued it back on, so i have to press it a couple of times for it to work. Its really annoying. Can I replace it? Any help would be appreciated. Thank yous.

Yes, you can replace the whole keyboard or just a cap if the the underside is still ok. As far as game concerns, it is decent but don't expect too much out of it

Providing that this is PCG-7154L and not 7514L as you stated, it should come with an Intel GMA 4500MHD - pretty decent integrated GPU

Well there are some manufacturers that are offering the external graphic card but I haven't seen any personal review so hard to say. What games are you looking at to play?

Have you checked this out?

im trying to play portal 2, black ops, and trying to run a ps2 emulator. the ps2 emulator actually works fine when it starts, but it gradually slows down. i've tried tweaking the settings, but nothing works.

Sure, you are willing to pay $200-300 for the dock and another $200-300 for the GPU where the bottle neck will be within your FSB and the express card slot? That is not a good solution at all, that dock is great for running multiple display for some CAD works, but not for games

Sell your Sony and use/add that extra $300-400 that you are about to invest to get a better gaming notebook.
