Buying a new gaming laptop - any suggestions?

Thread Starter

Trying to buy a gaming laptop for somewhere around $650 - $1000. All I am really going to be playing on it is WoW and maybe some Call of Duty and Starcraft 2. And of course the other normal casual uses for a laptop; browsing the interweb, youtube, porn, and downloading movies every now and then.

I dont want anything crazy, basically I just want to be able to play WoW without lagging. The screen size and resolution has to be on the higher end, and good graphics card I suppose.

Basically, my priorities are:

1. Playing WoW without lagging

2. Screen size

3. Good picture quality/resolution

I guess if you already know the laptop, that would be great, but also if you have a bunch of choices for me to check out, that would be even better. I definitely want to choose carefully and know for sure what I'm buying, and take a look at some reviews.

Thanks so much in advance!

Take a look at the News Section. Any of those notebooks will do fine - lagging in WoW is mostly being caused by slow internet connection

cheers ...
