Amilo D1845 extremely hot and fans are very loud

Hello everyone,

 

I just got an amilo d1845 and it's extremely hot. The fans run at full speed as soon as you turn it on and they never turn off. The motherboard temp is 75 degrees celsius which is very hot. It only take about 5 minutes for this thing to get hot and it has shut down several times. I've had it cleaned out with an air compressor and the heatsink has been cleaned. New thermal paste has been applied to and still no luck. I need to stabilize this thing as I can't get my money back and I can't buy another laptop right now. Is there any way to fix this issue or do I throw this thing in the trash?

Try a new drive with a fresh OS installation? Maxing out the ram? Cleaning out the inside real good?

Thanks for the tips. I re-installed the OS and re-applied fresh thermal paste. It seems to be functioning better. Still hot, but not as bad and not shutting off.
