I have an Dell XPS M1730, that currently has 4 gigs of DDR2-667 in it. Will I see any difference in performance, other than a benchmark, if I go to DDR2-800?

if the FSB runs at 667 Mhz then you will see no real improvments

On that note, does anyone know what speed the FSB runs at in the M1730?

Well, the model can be configured with an X9000 (6M Cache, 2.80 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) so it should support 800MHz FSB minimum wink.gif

cheers ...
