inspiron 1520 inverter

Hi everyone,

 

i have just replaced my inverter that is found under the screen with a new one and after a while it is heating up at very high temperatures. is this normal for an inverter? do you think cleaning up the fans should take place?

Is it heating up by the inverter area or just your notebook in general? If it just heats up in general then a good clean up and new thermal paste for the CPU/GPU would help

the inverter area is being heated up from startup till shut down, even if i am not using it, so i think its the problem but dont know how to solve it.

Providing that everything was fine (besides not having a display) before the inverter replacement, I would try with another inverter first, paying close to the OEM specification
