Avg. temp?

I've got an Acer Aspire 5742ZG which is my primairy system and I use it for gaming. But my temps seem really high. Can anybody with the same notebook (or equivalent) post their avg. temps please? Cuz I've got magor overheating problems and my temperatures are way above normal (up to 90C while gaming), is this normal for this particular type of notebook or is their actually something wrong?

It is high for any comps, but not rare (or abnormal) - you can either try using a notebook cooler whilst gaming, or applying new and better thermal paste than what came originally with notebook

Will applying new cooling paste or installing a better fan or something like that, void my warranty? cuz, I've got 3 more years of warranty and I'd like to keep it that way.

I am afraid that is what they always say - opening up the comp for whatever reason would void the warranty. Try using a notebook cooler instead then
