Hello. I have a laptop model ASUS X59GL-AP197C with 250 GB hard drive/motherboard model F5GL/. But I decided to replace it with a larger volume / 500, 640, 750 or 1000 GB /. I am interested what is the maximum amount of hard drive that I can use with this model.

Western Digital and Toshiba currently do offer 1TB drive that would fit your comp. Check them out in the News Section

Have fun. Do you really carry that many GB around? laugh4.gif My comps are back to 60-80GB internal, the rest is being backed up or stored in externals

Well I do not like the idea to keep connected to my laptop and external drive so that I can use data from it. I prefer it to my hand in the computer. And that my old hardleft to use for backup of important data. Thanks though for the advice and assistance.
