what is the difference between 3D and 3DE models?

hello,

i was intrested in G74SX 3DE model but i've noticed there is also G74SX 3D (without the "E"), so what is the difference between them???

is the G74SX 3D (without the "E") is a real 3D notebook or what? and if not why does it have a "3D" name?

could someone clear this one for me?

thanks in advance

I think it is just a mix up as far as item description / part number concerns. It should say G74SX 3DE period. 3DE = 3D - enable

cheers ...

thanks but from a search i did i think that the "E" is for "Embedded" and NOT "enable"

so can you please tell me what is the difference???

Wow, a new word laugh4.gif

Enabled, embedded ... what difference does it make? This model, equipped with 3D embedded graphic processor, will support 3D contents where they apply, period.

thanks man

but if 3DE "will support 3D contents where they apply" as you said so does the "regular" 3D support 3D as well or what???

For me the 3D and 3DE marking make no difference in supporting 3D contents, how ever you want to look at (or define) it
