Latitude D610: which (cheaper) non-Dell memory upgrade do I choose?

Hi!

I want to upgrade my Dell D610 to its full maximum of 2GB internal memory. Dell offers me at their site 1GB PC2-6400 (DDR2-800) memory modules.

Other brands can deliver the same, but cheaper.

Can anyone help me to determine which modules on the (Dutch) website (below) will do the job?

Specs for the Dell module:

1 GB Memory Module for Dell Latitude D610 - DDR2-800 SODIMM 2R Non-ECC

Part manufacturer: SNPPP102C/1G
Dell-part: A1479009

Dutch site with listing memory modules, filtered for 1GB, PC2-6400 (DDR2-800)

Thanks in advance for your help!

For normal daily usage, any of those Kingston, Corsiar, Transcend on the page would do. I personally go for cheap ones as much as possible winknudge.gif

I agree with qhn. I have a D610, and it is still working, but it does make a loud noise when on for an extended period of time.

I do hope to replace it one of these days.

Systems are cheap comparing to the old days. Good luck with a replacement

I like the Sager (Clevo) notebooks these days, but I have yet to make a decision. I want one with a nice 1080p display and a nice graphics card. Plus, the price is good in my country (USA), and you seem to get a lot for your money.

Seems like the trend at the moment. Don't count MSi and ASUS out though smile.gif
