Best OS for games?

Hi
Sorry if it was already discussed, but I recently saw a chart stating XP 64x is the best platform for games. But for those who had to, or prefered to change to Win7, in case the 64bits, what benefits/differences can be observed between Ultimate and Premium, when playing?
Is there any significant implications in RAM, processor performance when running Ultimate?
In WEI the rate is the same, and I don't think it's accurate.
Thanks!

There is no difference in W7 64-bits gaming as far as OS versions concern. Microsoft versions are categorized for Home users and business users - not gamers winknudge.gif

So the whole thing about premium being liter and that would help to process the game, while ultimate running tasks in the background, keeping the processor busier, is just rumor?

yes. the SKUs differentiate extra features, and the extra features would only be on if you were using them on purpose.
