iTunes

Hi,

New here and a bit of a novice with notebooks but I have been thinking about doing this for a while. The dilemma I have is my iTunes library is too big, over 350g for music alone, plus the movies and audiobooks etc it's nearly 500g. I want to get it off my home computer and since there are no iPods big enough to hold my music I was thinking about storing everything on a portable notebook used exclusively for iTunes and using that as my iPod? I know it is bulky but I suppose as long as it has a 3.5mm output I can plug it into my car and use it with my speakers at work.

I have been browsing notebooks but can't seem to find one to suit my needs. I don't need a big screen as it is 90% for audio but I will need a big HD at least 750g. I don't really even need a disc drive.

Any ideas or am I on the wrong track?

I would recommend buying a NAS. That way you don't have to have a dedicated computer for your music and you can access it from anywhere.
