M675PRR Windows 7

Thread Starter
I love my old M675PRR laptop. It is running XP home with all upgrades.
It has dual P4 3.00 GHz CPU and 1.00GB RAM
Now the sticky part.... Can I install Windows 7 on my machine?
Driver problems? Has anyone done this successfully
I love my big screeen and not liking the slim new so called 17s out there now.
Mostly I do Photoshop CS2 on this machine but would put CS 4 portable on it.
Any thoughts, suggestions?

Don't see why not - go for it. 6years old machines run Windows 7 just fine even with 1GB ram. Drivers, unless you need for specific reasons, Windows 7 default drivers should work

I have been running Windows 7 Pro x86 on my M675PRR for a while now. CPU@3.4, 1GB RAM. Runs great! I had to install the sound and modem drivers under compatibility mode for XP.

Running the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor will give you some idea of what to look for.
