B130 on TV screen

I am trying to get my B130 to show on my TV. I have a vga to rca (yellow) and vga to s-video. It has both on one wire harness. Has anyone been able to get this to work with a b130?

That adapter won't work - you would need a "real" VGA to TV converter or use an USB adapter/converter

Could you explain why I need a converter? I thought the vga could be used as a direct input to a tv. Is there anything a direct vga output could be used for?

Many notebook models support TV-out, yours does not belong to that lot - from what I read and heard. VGA port would support dual monitor, allowing to use an external monitor for notebooks; and signals to monitor are not the same as signals to TV, unless you can set your TV up as a PC display before hooking it up to it
