Hi. I am new to this site and well never have done this before. I just want some peoples input on my decision on my purchase before I make it. I am looking to buy a gaming laptop. I don't need it to play Crysis 2. I am looking for maybe something that can play World of Warcraft on ultra to high. I am currently looking at a Dell XPS 17 with these specs:

PROCESSOR 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7-2760QM processor 2.40 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.50 GHZ

MEMORY 8GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 Memory

OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit, English

OFFICE SOFTWARE Microsoft® Office Starter: reduced-functionality Word & Excel w/ ads. No PowerPoint or Outlook

HARD DRIVE 1.0TB 500GB 7.2k HDD x 2

Please any advice helps. I am expecting a list of other laptops I should buy and a burning list of reasons I shouldn't buy this but its worth a shot.

What is the price range are you looking at? Might want to look at the ASUS and MSI line as well

my price range is about 1500-2000 US

Specs look solid, and should do what you want
