Updated Laptop graphics chipsets other than from the manufacture?

My experience with Laptop manufactures with video driver updates is you are lucky if they come out with one update from original manufacturing date.
These are no 'gaming' models, but mostly 'business' like configured models.

Currently I have a HP ProBook 6545b and the dismal ATI Radeon HD 4200 chipset is apparently causing problems with my Hauppauge HVR1500 express card tuner. I would like to update the video driver, but no update is available from HP.

I tried running one of those ATI packages, but it wouldn't allow the update. They direct me to HP's site. Is there some package I can use in this Laptop for this 4200 chipset?

I'm running XP Pro w/sp2.

Try Omega or laptopvideo2go - though it might be hard to find latest drivers for XP on some GPU

cheers ...
