wireless connection

Thread Starter

I have an HP DV2000 running ubuntu OS. A few months ago I started using a hard wire web connection at work and now I cannot get the wireless connection to re-establish. Rebooting making sure the switch is on does nothing. Any ideas??

Thanks, M

You might also want to try to "recycle" the device
. (System/ Admin/ Hardware Drivers) deactivate the Wireless Driver
. Reboot
. (System/ Admin/ Hardware Drivers) deactivate the Wireless Driver
. Check the driver as "active"
. Reboot

Long winded way, but it is pretty much the same approach as in Windows deactivating and reactivating the device.
