It seems that nVidia is leaking out the newest GeForce 600M sometimes early next month - December 2011. Users will see 3 models: GeForce 610M, GeForce GT 630M and GeForce GT 635M.
If any stands to be true from information floating out there, these 3 cards will be slightly upgraded from the current 500M models.
Meaning?
. GeForce 610M would replace the GT 520M and based on GF119 (48 cores and 64 memory bus).
. GeForce GT630M and GT635M are based on the GF106, upgrading from the GT555M series supporting 144 Processing Streams and 128 / 192 bits Memory bus accordingly.
Meaning again?
. These upgraded (or pre real) 600M cards will not be taking advantage of the new Kepler architecture with GK107 as processing graphic.
So what does it really mean for us consumers?
. Wait and pay attention to any new comps with these 600M cards.
I do hope that manufacturers stop playing with baby-steps upgrades, take their time in making solid models instead of flooding us with confused specs.
cheers ...
