Could you suggest me a 17" notebook?

Hi everybody i need of a 17" notebook. i don't need to run heavy applications( such as games,video/graphics et similia), just browsing web pages,listening music,watching movies and some common and ordinary applications..

 

which do you suggest to buy? Please not over 500 euros and mainly silent ( i came from a powerbook and its 8yo distinguished career, but actually i cannot pay that for a new macbook ...sad.gif)

The only €500/17" notebooks I can think of are the special offers at department stores like Saturn, Media Markt or even Aldi from time to time. Since your requirements are quite simple I recommend check the advert in the newspapers often
