From what I see from the pictures (last one) you probably just get a fancy box with notebook, power adapter, battery, manual.

Ya that's what i am thinking too, nevermind.

Do you have recommendation for a good case for this kind of laptop (around 30-50 dollars).

Amazon has a good range of 17" notebook cases for cheap. I personally use a carrier due to my business travel, messenger bag types are not good for my shoulder winknudge.gif

Go to a store and check them out personally, that's what I would do before looking on the net for bargains

Hope it all sorts out for you, enjoy the new comp - give us a personal review on it if you have time and the chance.

And number 1 thing to do the minute you have the comp: recovery CDs, recovery CDS, create them asap ... can never say this enough for users laugh4.gif

Just curious why you went with that model...this model (G74Sx-TH71) looks like same specs but $300 dollars cheaper...Maybe I missed something, Plus this model has Blueray
