keyboard problem pls help

hello guys,i have a laptop,toshiba satellite c660 ij2 to be exact wherein the internal hard drive has been replaced by a friend due to some serious problem(i dont know how serious but i think replacing the hard drive makes it serious)..now..the hard drive has been replaced but my problem now is that the keyboard is malfunctioning and some of the keys are not working..and also guys the bios setup(is that how you call it??)is always appearing everytime i start my computer..so i always have to close it to proceed..please help..thx

Keyboard sounded to be failing. What is the error code and message popping up at boot?

so your saying that i should really see a laptop techie for my keyboard problem? in regards to what is happening everytime i start my computer..there are no error messages..its just that the setup of my bios..or that is how you guys call it..maybe..is displaying so i have to exit that setup to proceed..any ideas sir??..thx

I would need to know the error message. It could be a simple setting to turn off the diagnosis within the BIOS (silent start) - try that

how can i do that silent start sir?..there are no error messages displayed its just everytime i start my computer it automatically displays the setup...note sir that my hd has been replaced..its not the original hard drive..whati do is i continually press f12 to go to bootmenu..then when that boot menu is displayed i just press esc then thats when windows is starts..there are time that...thebios i was talking about is not being displayed it automatically starts windows,..and thats how i wanted i to be...thx..:)

You need to into BIOS settings and see if the 1st boot is the hard drive. Still we need to know what does it says when you have to hit F12

o yeah...when i hit f12...it like this hdd then blah.blah. then below it cd/dvd...but on top it says there hdd..and i think the brand name beside it..
