You probably wouldnt be able to get a good new gaming notebook for less than $1500.00...you might be able to get a good gaming desktop tower for that price (less monitor)

yes the $500 budget would be for a desktop, monitor wouldnt be an issue since i could hook it up to my 42" lcd. whats the cheapest video card i could get that would run Battlefield 3 on high settings?

haha well i dont have the money for a 6950, my budget for a vid card is about 100, no more than 125 at the most. if i cant build one cheap enough ill just buy another xbox probly
