How To Turn On Wireless Capability

Hello,

Everything has been working great on my MSI A4000 until a little while ago I could not get internet. When I turn on the computer and try it says, "Internet Explorer can't display the webpage" so I click the diagnose connection button and it says I need to turn on the wireless capability. When I click on fn and F8 the icon shows up with a red x. It says no connections are available. I am pretty useless with the computer so any help would be appreciated!

What happened before the connection went off? Were you installing something?

No I was not installing anything (at least not that I know of...). I cannot find a switch and the function keys are not doing anything.
