1) Intel, OCZ, and Corsair

2) Most important to me is price and quality, I can't spend $2 a GB for storage, no matter how fast it is. bang for the buck is the name of the game.

OCZ they seem to have the mojo
Reliability would be first but given the choices; a blend of performance and cost.

1) OCZ
2) Reliability. I don't want to drop that much money on a SSD if it's going to die years before my hard drives normally do.

I haven't been here for sometime but looks like the community is still going on strong!

1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other?

I don't have a SSD as prices seemed a bit steep. But than again I haven't upgraded anything in my computer since WoW WoTLK came out.. So from what I've read about I would probably go with an Intel or a OZC drive when I do upgrade my computer next year.

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements?

When it comes to purchasing one for myself the Price is a real factor in my decision making. Not only that something that isn't on the list is the reliability. When I plop down 100 dollars or more for ANYTHING i expect it to be of a good quality AND reliable. Back in the day I used to own WD Raptor drives and they all failed on me around the 6month to one and half year mark. That really irked me and I never looked back. So yes Price > Reliability > Performance in that order.

1. Kingston, never problems with those...

2. Price, Performance and Brand. Normally I use brand, what I have been used before, but of course must look price and performance too...

1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? OCZ

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Combination: Performance and price. Reliability is most important but not listed as choice-- I put that into the "Performance" Category.

1. Intel
2. Performance.

1 I like the OCZ brand it's fast and reliable but i've seen the specs on the intel and looks like it could be a neck in neck race

2What i look for is price , performance and reliability not always brand name

Hello! I hadn't really considered an SSD until now, but the prices are coming down, so why not!
1. Brand of SSD I'm considering:
answer: OCZ, although Intel would be a close second

2. What am I looking for:
Answer: I think performance would be my main criteria, although price could also be a factor. Then again, since SSD's are all about performance, I'd go for the "gold" and get the best performance!

1. I'm all for Samsung 830E series

2.Price and performance is key factors

I have an OCZ and an Intel.

The OCZ is great, the Intel has issues thoug it is newer.

So I´ll buy a OCZ next time.

1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other?
Anything OTHER than Samsung. I am throughly disappointed with the performance. Indeed, I had to further educate myself on the specs. I would consider Intel or Crucial.

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements?
Definitely a combination of those elements. Price is certainly a factor. Also noting the controller and interface (SATA II or SATA III).

1. Brand of SSD I'm considering:
I have considered OCZ, but I have read some negative reports. Finally I choose Corsair. Actually, I only care the high end control chip.

2. What am I looking for:
Performance, that is speed not labeled value but real feeling during daily use.
Then reliablity, sometimes i find randomly that I cannot boot into Win7 desktop. Need restart computer or re-plug ssd cable to resovle the problem.
