Here's my submission;

1. My desired brand - So far from what I've read, and experience feedback from the drives I've isntalled for people Intel seems to be my desired brand.

2. Why - I am a gamer and I would love my load times for reboots and games to be lighting fast.

1. If I were to purchase my next SSD I would go with Intel (unless OCZ has a realllllllllyyyyy good deal). I do like my OCZ drives that I have now but I read more and more about Intels performance and reliability in this this market.

2. When I look for a SSD I look towards Brand, Price and then reviews of that drive.

I am leaning towards an OWC SSD for my next purchase.
The biggest factors for me are a combination of price and performance. Id be willing to pay a premium for a SSD if it were able to provide performance and reliability.

1: Crucial
2: Reliability followed by price then performance.

I'd include data density, SSD understandably has a ways to
Go to compete with conventional drives for $/gigabyte.
My primary concern has always been reliability/price.

1. Intel, OCZ, Crucial
2. Combination, heavily weighted to Brand (really reliability which i link to Brand), then performance/price balance.

I want speed. Speed.
And a little reliability.
Hate reinstalling windows.
Price matters last.
Oh just the looks of that thing would make me get it.

1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other? Samsung

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements? A combination of Price and Performance

1. At this point, I'd go for any brand I have a favorable impression of - I'd lean strongly toward OCZ, Crucial, and Intel. My first choice would be OCZ.
2. In the end, price is going to outweigh performance for me. Performance will definitely weigh in on the decision, but price much more so.

1. OCZ and Crucial

2. Price and performance!

1) Intel

2) Performance (although reasonable pricing helps)

I have 3 OCZs drives, but the firmware updates were a pain, so I would consider another brand.

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements?

Like many, a combination, but if price was close enough, I would pick performance first. Usually the one with the best performance/price ratio is a good brand, so that's not as important.

1) Intel

2) Performance

For the new laptop - Intel - for Performance.

For the current Desktop I have to use for some tasks - OCZ Synapse Cache Series to perk up the Perfromance.

1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other?

Probably Intel or Crucial. I've had good success with them in the past so I'll stick with them.

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements?

I'm looking for a resonably priced drive with good performance. I'll look at brand but that's not paramount in my decision.

Thanks!

I like the Kingstons and OCZ

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements?

Performance is first , price is second. I am open to any name brand if warranty is good

1)I had always liked Intel products. My next SSD will be Intel's.

2)I'm always looking for performance, if the price doesn't differ more than about 200 USD.

I’m looking at an Intel SSD for my next purchase, and I definitely look at both price and performance, for any brand I choose.
