1. Intel
2. Performance

1. Probably OCZ.
2. A great price to speed ratio and is relatively reliable. Brand is not a big deal to me.

Pick me so I can win it!

1. I prefer Intel. Always had pretty good luck with them.
2. A combination of the two.Kinda broke right now so mostly price.Having 5 daughters kinda puts any NEW extras at the bottom of the list.

I.  Intel

2. Requirements = reliability and of course - speed!

I prefer Intel
I look for a combination of Reliability and Price which usually leads me to intel.

1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other?
Intel / OCZ

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements?

A combination of price and performance, it must be on sale :P and perform on average with other drives of its class without a reputation of failure.

1. OCZ/Intel

2. Brand/Performance first, then price depending on size. Generally performance is the most important factor to me when I'm buying an SSD so its important it performs very well.

1) Intel or OCZ.
2) Balance between price, performance, brand. Kind of a cop-out answer but any purchase is always a balancing act of these 3 for me. I want a good deal for something that works well and isn't a piece of junk.

1. I'm considering OCZ and Intel, Intel because I am using an Intel 80 gb on this machine and have had no problems. And OCZ because of their performance.

2. I like to consider all three, performance ,and price being the most important factors as well as brand.

Hey, NB ph34r.gif

  1. Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other? Well, I was actually considering ADATA from Newegg due it's good ratio between size, speed and price.
  2. What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements? I was always big on price and speed utill I've realized my laptop's limitation i.e. Asus N82JV lists SATA II (300 MB/s) support. At this point I am really aiming at price : size ratio primarily. Although, I tend to give a lot of thought to the warranty policies for particular product over actual brand.

Thanks for informative and attractive holiday challenge, NB.
PS: I really want the INTEL one ph34r.gif

I've looked at the Intel and considered the Sandisk would probably go with Intel.

My biggest concern is reliability and data security. I don't mind paying more for quality. I do not want offshore junk if I intend to use it for important stuff.
