1.Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade? Intel, OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Patriot Memory, Samsung, or other?
Seriously considering Intel, OCZ and Crucial

2.What do you look for when selecting an SSD? Price, Performance, Brand - or a combination of these elements?
A combination of performance and price, brand name not really a compelling factor

1.  Intel, will also consider other brand.  whichever get best review.

2,  performance is important,  also to look for.

I'm always looking for the best available at the time & dont mind spending more if I know it wont be outdated to soon.

So I would consider the Intel & Speed is king in my book.

1. After having 2 out of 3 OCZ Vertex 2 drives fail within 9 months of deployment, and a 2nd gen Intel SSD still running smoothly after 18 months of daily use, I'd only consider Intel. Maybe Crucial/Micron as second choice

2. I am looking for RELIABILITY! Knocking microseconds off in performance is meaningless if I spend hours restoring from backups when high peformance drives fail!

1. Intel
2. Reliability, price

Next upgrade? I'd have to go with the OCZ.

What do I look for? Performance then price. The OCZ and Intel are about the same price, where the Intel fails is in write speed (roughly half that of the OCZ).
I do like the lower power requirements of the Intel, but the write performance is way to slow.

1. Whatever provides the most bang for the buck. I got a vertex 2 for my laptop and have been loving it, so I would probably choose OCZ again.
2. When looking for an SSD I look for speed, storage isn't really a factor past 50 gb. Price doesn't matter as long as I am getting performance comparable or exceeding what would be expected of the price.

1. Intel
2. Price, availability and performance.
1. Intel
2. In this order: Performance, Brand, Price, Value (bang for the buck)
1. brand doesn't matter to me, unless I read some bad reviews on a particular product

2. price is most important, followed by performance

1. Which brand SSD are you considering for your next upgrade?

I imagine the correct answer is supposed to be Intel. But honestly I'm looking at OCZ for price/performance.

2. What do you look for when selecting an SSD?

Ummm, I guess I answered that above ... Price, Performance

2. Most bang for the buck
