Performance in conjunction with Price.
I am considering either an Intel or Sandisk SSD for my next project and the key factors are price, brand and performance.
I will carefully read what testers say on the forum, and in magazines.

Performance (including speed and reliability) and Price.

They are tough questions, both of them, as I don't have an ssd in anything of mine yet. but here goes.
1. Intel, they haven' let me down in other things.
2. Price figures highly, but performance is key. So it would have to be a combination of those three,with brand being the part that makes you remember who did you right.
