benchmark testing for new laptop

What kind of benchmark testing applications are you guys using when you get your new laptop? Since my dealer has 7 days return policy, I have to do this test very quick. How long did you usually run the testing tool? Thanks.

My list benchmark tools:
1)SiSoft Sandra 2004.
2)Memtest86.

STABILITY
1)PassMark BurnInTest PRO: This test will run continuosly for 12 hours.
2)prime95's Torture test: For Windows memory and CPU Subsystem burn-in testing. Because it hits the CPU so hard using calculations sometimes we see 4-5C degrees of CPU temperature increase. Actually it tries to find Mersenne prime numbers by heavy calculations. This test is run continuosly for 24 hours.

For when i build desktops I do the following:

- 12 hours of Prime95...if your not overclocking this can even be lowered.
- 6-9 hours of memtest86, if your memory has 1 error in it I would request them to swap the memory modules or just use the 7 day refund policy
- 6-12 hours of 3dmark01 looped or if you have a license for 3dmark03 you can loop that for an even better test.
-Sandra for some HDD tests, as well as optical drive!

In my experience if a nonoverclocked machine gets thru that with no errors...its unlikely to have any problems in the near future.
