hi

i will go back and have a look to see if i can find which ones i used and find a link

it was on the hp site but not under normal download links for my laptop

i had to search the site punch in my model no then type in uaa   and then hd audio

 

i also think i have found out why my recovery disks are rendered in compatible

i belive it to be because i did not tattoo my new motherboard and hard drive !!!

 

i also believe this is why the normal run of the mill uaa driver and audio  and the one in my recovery would not

work correctly

Here is the link for the Audio Bus Driver that i installed

and here is the link for the audio driver which addresses the problem where the onboard speakers do not mute when using head phones
