my laptop died few weeks ago. first i found the problem when I left it overnight on hibernate, the next night when turn power on, all LEDs on, no video, no beep, the LED next to sd card slot stay solid, what ever I do to it no response. The night after 48 hours passed, it somehow turned and log into windows, running windows normally.
After few days, it died again. I looked at service manual, followed direction, did hard reset, take out battery, hold down power button for 15 minutes. it turned on and worked for 2 days, then died. this time I pulled out the hard drive out, ram sticks out, then put them back, hard reset at 4 times, it turned on and worked for 5 day.
then it died again, this time I tried everything, it would not come back. power on, all LEDs on, no beep, no video, LED next sd card slot stay on, what ever key I hit no video come on. I did hard reset, take hard drive out, ram sticks out, still no change.
any suggestions?
it the RTC battery need to be changed? or something else?
