Alienware m5500i-r3 sound drivers for Windows 7

I have an Alienware m5500i-r3 that came with Vista.  I installed Windows 7 Pro and everything works fine except the audio output.  I have searched on my own and have been unable to find a driver that will make it work.  I installed Ubuntu on my other partition and it works fine using Ubuntu.  Does anyone have a solution?  Thanks!

See if you can use the audio driver that came originally with Vista

I tried that but it would not install.  Went to Realtek's website to download tlatest driver from their site (the Vista driver was a Realtek driver) and it did not work.  Installed Vista on another partition, updated and still no sound.  I work in IT and this is one of the strangest problems I have encountered.  I know the hardware works 100% if I use Ubuntu, but I cannot get it to work with 7 or Vista.  Any other suggestions would be appreciated ;).

Thanks!

Do you have a link for this.  I tried google but could not find it.  It seemed to pull up more Ubuntu links than Windows links.  All I seem to find for Windows 7 is a chipset update.  Thanks!

I updated the chipset, rebooted and still no sound.  There was not an update for the audio driver.  I have tried a few different audio drivers and can't seem to find anything that makes the audio output work for Windows 7.
