Can anyone help me remove a bot?

Last night I let my cousin on my computer for 20 minutes and when he left my house my screen had 2 popups saying "you're computer is at risk! download this to help" or whatever the typical virus/trojan would say. So I close it and try opening my Norton at which point ive been prompted that my service has been deactivated... So no whenever I open ANYTHING I also open an erj.exe and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of this? When I did reactivate my Norton it immediately told me I had 3 problems to fix and I did but erj.exe still opens with everything. Also if I try to open windows fire wall or security center it doesn't open it but instead opens the other window that tells me I need to download some spyware program. If anyone could help that would be great!

Try download malwarebyte (free) and run it in Safe Mode - hopefully this would fix it, it not, time to to re-install clean and may be using another free virus scanner app that is better than Norton? winknudge.gif

cheers ...

Some of these things are simpler than they seem. I ran into one where all I needed to do was start in safe mode, find the installed location of the program, and delete it.
