Hello everybody.
Me name is George and i am Greek .I just subscribed to the forum hoping that i could get some help with the problem i have with my Vaio.Let me explain what it is.
A friend of mine gave me as a present a Sony vaio model PCG-7A9P .Well it had some problems with thw Dvd drive and and sound , but i fix them using Microsoft Fix it center.
After a week i tried to change the memory usage configuration (which worked) and at the end of the day i just turned the laptop off.
Next morning , i tried to log in , all ckecks went fine ...the desktop appeared but not the icons or the start menu bar .Everything was frozen....
Having formated my desktop computer many times and reinstalled windows more that times i ....... just tried to do the same !!!!!!!!!! I formatted the c:\ disc that contained windows... format went fine.....
Then using a windows xp disc i tried to install windows back again..... No chance at all !!!!
The problem is that i have no recovery disc or anything else like that..... Before taking the computer to a Sony service i thaught i could challenge my luck by trying to find a solution into the forum....
Any help will be more than welcome...
I don't know if the same problem was mentioned in the forum before.If so i am terrible sorry for the inconvenience... I am sorry for my english... I keep on learning
