I have a compaq presario CQ56 129NR notebook which came with windows 7 installed. I erased the hard drive and want to install windos XP but when I insert my windows XP CD, it acts like its installing it until it comes to part where it says---installing windows---then I get the blue screen which says in part--- a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. Technical info STOP 0X0000007B (0Xf78D2624, 0X0000034, 0X0000000,
0X00000000) I dont know what these numbers mean. After reading lots of comments about this problem I am going to try to make an install CD by using nLite and insert the proper SATA driver. My problem is---I dont know how to find and download the correct SATA driver. I would like a link to the proper SATA driver. Where do I find it? the processor is an AMD processor.
