Hey,

I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit, after the installation the windows is loading and then it goes into an Asus wallpaper,

then it stuck for like 7-10 sec and restart again to the same process.

Thanks

Any reason why you (re) install Windows? Try using one stick of ram at the time and see

Is this hard drive still having a recovery partition? If yes I would suggest using another drive with no recovery partition, installing W7 Ultimate anew and see

Thanks for the help!

the problem was that i tried installing the new Windows at the hard disk with the recovery,

I had another 2.5 HD so I install it on the new one and it worked!

Thanks Again!

Good to hear. (some) Manufacturers have these weirdo way of blocking OS version other than the one they delivered it, coupling with recovery partition azz.gif
Save the original drive, never know when you will be needing it winknudge.gif

VAIO's are terrible for that... Upgrades are fine, but a clean install, thats a different matter...!

So true laugh4.gif I live with it, having so many Vaio here at home. Though I was quite surprised by this ASUS model,
