Cheapest way to upgrade Dell XPS 1530 processor?

Hi everyone bascially what I want to do is update my current processor which is a 1.40 ghz (but running at 1.20 for some reason) to at least a 2.0 ghz processor the cheapest way possible.

I just want to update my laptop so I can use it for a few more months until I can either get a new laptop or desktop. I know how to change out everything in a desktop and I've replaced processors in laptops at work but honestly I've been busy with school and work so I don't really know which processor to look for.

Like I said I just want the cheapest 2.0 ghz that I can put in this laptop to get me by. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. I have seen some processor on amazon and newegg but I wasn't completely sure if they would work.

Thank you all so much smile.gif
