Gateway 9550 BIOS update / upgrade

It went very badly ... can I recover from this ?? cry.gifazz.gif

and while I 'm at it ... maybe I should take the opportunity ask something else ... anybody have a keyboard for a 520 series Acer [ 527 TXV to be exact ] and a CMOS battery ???

Should be able to, just boot it up from floppy using a previous BIOS or search for Blind BIOS Flash. eBay should have the keyboard and CMOS battery for your model - cheap

Good luck with the BIOS flash - patient and external power plugged-in = the key winknudge.gif
