I currently have an atheros ar9285 in my arrandale fujitsu (ah530). I'm assuming there's no minipcie whitelist, but if so, will need to look into modding that..
The ar9285 only supports single stream, so that's 65mbps with 20mhz, 150mbps with 40mhz. Although 40mhz seems to be working flawlessly, I do live in the city, and would rather not consume that huge a chunk of the 2.4ghz spectrum. So I'm looking to update to a dual stream adapter, so I can do 130mbps with 20mhz.
I see that tons of adapters are now <$20 even, so that's what I'm looking to spend. I have a dir-655 revA (bummer..), so two streams is all I need. Plus, I haven't taken a look at how many antennas I have. I'm imagining two, but who knows, might be three.
Out of box support for backtrack would be most ideal.
