This laptop has given yeoman service and never had one iota of any problems with it.

Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 2.1 Ghz, 800FSB, 3 MB L2 cache
GeForce 8600M GT with upto 1280MB and TurboCache(still pretty decent as far as mobile GPUs go)
4 GBs DDR2 RAM
17" wXGA CrystalBrite LCD
320GB HDD.. I did replace the HD with the same size a couple of years ago and am still using the original as a cloned drive copy
Win Vista Ultimate 64 bit ( I also have the restore CDs which I made on receipt of the laptop)
No dead pixels
It has just been a super laptop but have decided to get something newer.

It's gonna be tough to estimate... eBay shows a "new" one with smaller CPU for around $449.

cheers ...

Funny, I looked on Ebay and couldnt find any...found replacement parts etc..but no full laptops...I didnt think it would be worth a heck of a lot anymore...Used to be a big demand for good used laptops here in town with the 4 universities but with the price of laptops falling the last few years, not much demand anymore for used ones...Guy could make a buck or two refurbing used ones and selling them..not any more...lol
