Unlock full HDD capacity on Windows 7 64-bit

I have a problem: the HDDguru low level format tool shows a total capacity of my 3 internal HD and my WD external HD bigger than what appears in Windows. I tried the Capacity Restore utility, but it won't even open properly. how can I solve this issue?

You can't. Windows tends to report differently (less) and not always consistent on hard drive capacity. We have a thread here somewhere that explains the reason behind it.

Maybe Djembe sees this thread and comments it for you.

but that about that HDD Capacity Restore Utility? what does it do?

HDD Capacity Restore is a freeware tool that allows you to restore full factory capacity of any hard drive.

What it says. I honestly don't understand what it really does or means by "full factory capacity". So let's say that you have a 320GB drive, using his toold does not mean (for me) that it would force/help Windows to see the whole 320GB, as mentioned above.

cheers ...
