Hey guys, I've been researching for some time now but need some opinions. I have a 15" MacbookPro (it's a few years old) that I absolutely love but I need something a little more portable for school, such as a 13" that is fairly slim. I need Windows for certain apps, and to be honest I'm tired of OSX and kind of want to try Windows again. I originally wanted it to be around $800, but I might go up to $1000ish if I have to. I looked at the following laptops so far:
-Sony S Series (i5 2430M 2.4ghz, 3ghz w/turbo boost, 4gb ram, 500gb 5400 hard drive, amd radeon 6630m 1gb graphics card)
-Lenovo U400 (same processor, 6gb ram, 750gb 5400, amd radeon 6470m 1gb graphics)
-Macbook Pro 13" (i5 2.4ghz, 4gb ram, 500gb hd, intel hd graphics 3000)
I will mostly just use this for school, so very basic browsing/spreadsheet/word processing stuff, however I'd like to have some power there for my media (I store a lot of music, hundreds of gigs), and maybe play a game - Starcraft 2 would be cool, although this is not a necessity :)
So my main requirements are a machine that is portable, reliable, durable, and has some decent power (more than a netbook or budget computer). I want to get back into Windows but if the quality isn't there for a 13" I might consider paying a bit more for a 13" Macbook Pro, although the Mac's specs seems weaker than the others.
I'm lost here guys, please help!!!
