Gaming laptop advice needed.

Hi all,

I'm looking into buying a new gaming laptop with a budget of $1500 to $2500.

I'm not very up to date with current tech, but I have been researching GPU's and CPU's and have noticed that new models may be due out in the coming months? So, my first question is, should I buy now or wait until the new models come out?

Second, I don't really know if I need the best GPU, I was looking at the GTX560, and then I started considering the GTX580 and then SLI etc.... I want my GPU to last me for over two years, do I need to have the very best or is it just a bonus?

What is the best price/performance ratio currently on the market? Ideally at the lower end of my budget, but I don't mind spending more for the right computer.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, that looks like a good option, I like all the customisation options.

Would you recommend going with a SSD drive? The 180gb ones seem reasonably priced.

Absolutely with an SSD if you can. It only adds advantages to system performance
