have to press on butte 30 times to switch the PC on

Thread Starter
To boot the laptop, especially after the power got disconnected/battery empty, i have to press the on button 30 times and wait 3 minutes... it may be to do with the voltage in the battery, sometimes it takes 5 10 minutes to boot. i cant say exactly cos its my friends laptop... just now i breathed warm air on the button and then it came on but i have yet to see if it always does that.

any similar experience?

thanks!

How old is the comp? Model? Tried taking it apart for some internal cleaning (fan etc ..) and new thermal paste?

cheers ...
