Lenovo w/Synaptics - Turn off Virtual Wheel?

So I'm running a Lenovo z560 Win7 64bit and the only TouchPad/Mouse controller/options is pre-installed Synaptics.  Same driver as current avail. download from their site.

 

I rarely utilize a plug-in mouse and the virtual wheel/scroll feature is driving me batty on the TouchPad.   Search as I may, I cannot locate any option to turn the scroll off.  It should at least be an option via profile such as docked / undocked.  Nothing there.

 

Should I simply uninstall Synaptics and allow WIn7 to control it?
