Wireless Network Card Sometimes Stops Working

Recently, when I turn on my Aspire 5820tg, no networks are found and a red X is over my signal bar. I check to see if wireless is turned on. It is. Device manager says the all drivers are up to date and my adapter is working. Then it starts working after a day, and stops again after being turned on. Any ideas what is wrong?

How is your wireless network connection being set up? Router (model, firmware)? OS? You mentioned recently - Restore point?
