1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?
A: Yes. I own and use 8 SSDs. Yes as well. I am looking to deploy 5 more SSDs in the foreseeable future.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?
A: I am considering purchasing the newest Intel SSD line-ups, based on Intel's excellent performance and reliability track record in the SSD market. Overall, Intel's SSD products have very high performance to price ratio.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?
A: I usually purchase new PCs every 2 to 3 years.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?
A: I am not a Canadian resident, but the answer is 43 and 2/3.

1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?

I own an 120 GB Intel SSD. I don't have any plans to purchase another in the immediate future, but when I get my next laptop I'm getting another SSD.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?

Probably another Intel drive unless the one I own currently craps out on me before I get a new computer. My main concern is reliability.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?

Every 3 - 4 years.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?

Not Canadian, and even if I was I'd be too busy eating Kraft dinner to do maths.

1.Yes: Own an Intel 40g and an Intel 80g

2. Intel because it is reliable.

3. I build my own PCs at least once a year

4. I am a U.S. citizen; however 125+45=170. 170/3 =56.666666667

56.66666667-13=43.6666667.

I don't own a SSD yet, plan to add one soon though.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?
Intel, OCZ, or Samsung. The latter two for price reasons, the former for reliability.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?
Over 3 years.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?
US Resident, but standard order of op would result in 127.

1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?

No. Yes, I'm sick of crashing HDDs.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?

Undecided currently. My initial search yielded Sandisk because of cost and reviews.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?

The last PC I purchased (built) was around 2002. Needless to say, it's time for an upgrade. Looking to get on a 2 year cycle.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?

I'm American, so like any proper lazy American I Googled it. Google says "(125 plus (45 divided by 3)) minus 13 = 127"
1) Don't currently own one, don't plan on buying one either, at least not before my next build in a year.
2) N/A
3) Every 2-3 years.
4) USA do no math!!!

1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?

No, I don't currently have one, I am not planning one, but would really love one!

Intel 520 SSD is my choice and reliability, performance and price in that order.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?
I purchase one anually, just purchased 3 last year.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?

43.67 by order of operation

(125 plus (45 divided by 3)) minus 13 = 127 if the parenthesis are implied.

No brand in particular. Whatever is working well.

1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?

No, and yes.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?

I'm open to whatever brands provide the best blend of price per GB, reliability, and speed.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?

I do not purchase a PC on a set time schedule, rather I purchase or build one whenever my current systems no longer adequately meet my needs and upgrades would not be a viable option.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?

N/A, as I am a citizen of the United States. But, to prove that I still know math, the answer is 43.66666666666667. tongue.gif

1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?
Yes, I have a first generation Samsung in my laptop. It's ok, and way faster than any rotating drive, but doesn't come close to Intel's performance.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?
Yes, looking to get another in the next 6 months. Either Intel (if I can afford it) or OCZ.
May also get one of the little Intel cache drives to mate with my Z68 mobo, but that's a lower priority than the one for my lappy.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?
12 months or less. I have 5 machines, and don't let any of them get older than 4 yrs.

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?
127.

1. I currently own two Intel SSDs. 2nd generation 80gb SSDs. I am planning to replace them with 2 larger SSDs and migrate the smaller ones into other machines.
2. I have only owned Intel and am likely to continue to prefer Intel SSDs due to their performance and compatibility, as well as their support tools.
3. I purchase a new computer every 6-9 months. My primary machine is usually rebuilt every 12 months, with upgrades during that span every 2-3 months.
4. I am not a Canadian resident. I am sorry. (That was my attempt at being Canadian)

1) I currently own a 120GB OCZ Agility 3 for my desktop, and my MacBook has a 64GB SSD as well. I'm looking to upgrade once 240GB SSDs are less than $200.

2) OCZ and Corsair. Although Intel's quality is unbeatable, the prices are far from affordable for me.

3) I do a fresh build every 2 years, but I upgrade in between then.

4) 127

1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?
OCZ Agility 3 120GB. No current plans to purchase another.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?
Don't know yet as product lines will be different by the time I purchase another. But price and performance are top factors.

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?
2-3 years.

1) Do you currently own an SSD? Are you planning on purchasing one or more in the near future?

A: I have a laptop Crucial C300 256GB SSD. I'm not planning on buying anything else right now, but am designing in a 1.8" SSD into an OEM device at work.

2) If you’re planning on purchasing an SSD, which brand(s) are you considering and why (price, performance, reliability, brand, etc.)?

A: No plans other than the size 1.8" factor for the work job. If I were to buy again... I'd buy big!

3) How often do you purchase a new PC (every 12 months or less, every 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2-3 years, over 3 years)?

A: Over 3 years. I buy the latest and greatest and make it last 4-5 years. Last year I spent $5500 on a new laptop

4) [Canadian residents] What is 125 plus 45 divided by 3 minus 13?

A: Sadly not a Canuck, but 125 + 45 then /3 then -13 in that order is 43 & 2/3rds. If you want to do it 125 + (45/3) -13 then that's a different 97 story.

Thanks for the chance!
