We're looking for a new laptop for mom. She uses one right now for skyping, browsing the net (google, facebook), and looking through pictures and videos. No games or anything beyond the basics. We're looking to spend around $550 give or take.
Basic specs I'm thinking so far should be:
- Intel i5 or better
- 6GB Ram
- 500+ GB HDD
- DVD Burner
- 15"~ screen
- Webcam w/ mic
I've looked through Best Buy, Dell, and HP's websites and most of the pc's are all very similar in between all three stores for the price. Any recommendation on brand or laptop would be great. We're open to buying online and retail.
