unknown processor

Hi,

Under systems info my processor is listed as amd processor unknown and under bios it is also listed as unknown.

I have updated the bios to 0802 which is the latest.Motherboard is the Asus M5a78l-usb3,processor is the phenom 960t.The pc was built over Christmas and i have had known problems even unlock 2 extra cores which seem to be stable.

How do i get them to be recognised?

Any help would be grateful.

OS? Try with CPU-Z and see if it can report differently? Chipset driver up to date?

I'm running windows 7 ultimate and i will try the cpu-z.

The cores might have been bad and that is why they were locked.
